Holiday Lights at Veterans Park
Drive through the park and be captivated by over 2 million lights illuminating the night! From the 40-foot-tall digital tree at the park’s entrance to the drive thru light tunnel, glowing American flag and hundreds of animated light displays that each tell a story, this immersive experience is sure to get you in the holiday spirit!
Please note, you must remain in your car at all times unless parking for concessions. The cost is $20 per car and hours are Sunday-Thursday, 6-9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 6-10 p.m. Open through Dec. 31.
Ashebrooke Subdivision
Set the radio to Christmas tunes and enjoy a leisurely drive street by street through this festive neighborhood. It’s easy to spend 30-45 minutes driving by the amazing lineup of lights. Ashebrooke is located off Bethelview Road between Kelly Mill and Hwy 20 in Cumming.
See Reindeer at Pettit Creek Farms – A Country Christmas
Located an hour from FoCo in Cartersville, revel in the festive glow of Christmas lights during a scenic drive or hayride spanning over a mile. Choose between the hayride or the drive-thru option, with patio heaters to keep you warm on-site. No reservations are needed, and tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.
Don't miss the chance to meet Santa and his reindeer, Comet and Cupid, at Santa's Cottage – a great photo opp! Santa is available Thursday through Sunday, from 6-9 p.m. until Christmas. Enjoy some animal love at the petting zoo, with the possibility of receiving a grateful kiss from a camel!
Magical Night of Lights at Lake Lanier Islands
The Lakeside Lights Spectacular will take you on a magical walk through an amazing lighting extravaganza with festive seasonal music. Stroll through this lakeside light show for traditional holiday displays, high tech images and Margaritaville themed scenes. Don’t forget to stop by Tipsy Elf situated in the middle of the light show – a refill station for cocktails, hot cocoa and sweet treats.
Make time to visit License to Chill Snow Island, featuring a 575-foot-long snow tube slide, ice skating, carnival rides, snow play and holiday shopping!
Drive Around Forsyth County
Grab the blankets and hot cocoa and spend an hour visiting a few of the most festive homes in the area! Start in North Forsyth at Operation Griswold located at 104 Wolf Creek Court. From there, go 20 minutes northeast to 4915 Plainsman Circle for another great light show. Make sure to tune your radio to 88.1. Next, head 20 minutes south to Happy House in Cumming located at 5455 Young Deer Drive.
